Anisotropy of Resonant Inelastic X-Ray Scattering at the K Edge of Si:Theoretical Analysis

We investigate theoretically the resonant inelastic x-ray scattering (RIXS) at the KK edge of Si on the basis of an ab initio calculation. We calculate the RIXS spectra with systematically varying transfered-momenta, incident-photon energy and incident-photon polarization. We confirm the anisotropy of the experimental spectra by Y. Ma {\it et al}. (Phys. Rev. Lett. 74, 478 (1995)), providing a quantitative explanation of the spectra.Comment: 18 pages, 11 figure

Islam tough us how people can organize their own life and form a grub. Organize from the needs of the body, spiritual until socials needs that do not past from other business. That thing do not past from the ordinances that obtain or called by law. Like a people needed that vital and can appear benefit to all of people. But in practices, the benefits from all human still can not be seen. Like ceremony in business that do by multi level marketing enterprises PT. Melia Sehat Sejahtera branch of Kartosuro and new member candidates in set the deal but still has as an element garar ( not clear ). From the side of the motion of the business that related to the practice of contact mlm business in the look of viewpoints of Islam. Kind of this research that used by researcher is the research field, and analytic method that use the qualitative description. And steps that used in this data took is observation technical, interview and documentation. Based the method that used in this research, so when we looked from the angle of view of Islam. Contracted in this business transaction should be not happened. Because in that transaction contract has element garar that prohibited of Islam law is any not clear in the way of that business. Like benefit that not know when that contract agreed. Thus, contract like this can avoid or ask the transparent from all of agreement in that contract. So that contract in business that we do appropriate with the law and the Islam law

CAMHID: Camera motion histogram descriptor and its application to cinematographic shot classification

© 1991-2012 IEEE. In this paper, we propose a nonparametric camera motion descriptor for video shot classification. In the proposed method, a motion vector field (MVF) is constructed for each consecutive video frame by computing the motion vector (MV) of each macroblock. Then, the MVFs are divided into a number of local region of equal size. Next, the inconsistent/noisy MVs of each local region are eliminated by a motion consistency analysis. The remaining MVs of each local region from a number of consecutive frames are further collected for a compact representation. Initially, a matrix is formed using the MVs. Then, the matrix is decomposed using a singular value decomposition technique to represent the dominant motion. Finally, the angle of the most variance retaining principal component is computed and quantized to represent the motion of a local region by using a histogram. In order to represent the global camera motion, the local histograms are combined. The effectiveness of the proposed motion descriptor for video shot classification is tested by using a support vector machine. First, the proposed camera motion descriptors for video shots classification are computed on a video data set consisting of regular camera motion patterns (e.g., pan, zoom, tilt, static). Then, we apply the camera motion descriptors with an extended set of features to the classification of cinematographic shots. The experimental results show that the proposed shot level camera motion descriptor has a strong discriminative capability to classify different camera motion patterns of different videos effectively. We also show that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art methods

Towards Full Automated Drive in Urban Environments: A Demonstration in GoMentum Station, California

Each year, millions of motor vehicle traffic accidents all over the world cause a large number of fatalities, injuries and significant material loss. Automated Driving (AD) has potential to drastically reduce such accidents. In this work, we focus on the technical challenges that arise from AD in urban environments. We present the overall architecture of an AD system and describe in detail the perception and planning modules. The AD system, built on a modified Acura RLX, was demonstrated in a course in GoMentum Station in California. We demonstrated autonomous handling of 4 scenarios: traffic lights, cross-traffic at intersections, construction zones and pedestrians. The AD vehicle displayed safe behavior and performed consistently in repeated demonstrations with slight variations in conditions. Overall, we completed 44 runs, encompassing 110km of automated driving with only 3 cases where the driver intervened the control of the vehicle, mostly due to error in GPS positioning. Our demonstration showed that robust and consistent behavior in urban scenarios is possible, yet more investigation is necessary for full scale roll-out on public roads.Comment: Accepted to Intelligent Vehicles Conference (IV 2017

PURPOSE: Green banking, an ethical banking concept, concentrates on environmental protection and encourages social and environmental sustainability, perceived cognitive efforts, and subjective norms ensuring ecologically responsive banking services. Consequently, although there have been considerable green banking attempts in Bangladesh, it is yet unknown how environmental sustainability, perceived cognitive effort, and subjective norms affect usage behavior. The present research aims to uncover this gap, extending the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to examine the determinants of the bankers’ green banking usage behavior during COVID-19. METHODS: Data were collected from 366 bankers in Bangladesh using a purposive sampling technique and analyzed with structural equation modeling (SEM) using SMART PLS 3 software. FINDINGS: The study found management support (0.291, t-statistics = 1.978, p 0.000), environmental sustainability (β = 0.278, t-statistics = 2.752, p < 0.001), perceived cognitive efforts (β = 0.401, t-statistics = 3.549, p < 0.000), and subjective norms (β = 0.309, t-statistics = 4.352, p < 0.000) influence bankers’ attitudes. Whereas environmental sustainability (β = 0.503, t-statistics = 3.726, p < 0.001), perceived cognitive efforts (β = 0.103, t-statistics = 2.020, p < 0.002), subjective norms (β = 0.281, t-statistics = 4.607, p < 0.000), and attitudes (= 0.602, t-statistics = 5.523, p 0.015) influence bankers’ green banking usage behavior. Finally, the mediating role of management supports, environmental sustainability, cognitive efforts and subjective norms on green banking usage behavior through attitudes was significant. CONTRIBUTION/CONCLUSION: The study contributed to existing literature validating the proposed holistic framework applying TRA and three contemporary dimensions explaining bankers’ behavior toward green banking practice. Finally, the implementers should focus on green banking practices as green banking is one of the key strategies to protect the environment, assure social justice, and create economic success

The Computer-aided Diagnosis or Detection (CAD) approach for skin lesion analysis is an emerging field of research that has the potential to alleviate the burden and cost of skin cancer screening. Researchers have recently indicated increasing interest in developing such CAD systems, with the intention of providing a user-friendly tool to dermatologists to reduce the challenges encountered or associated with manual inspection. This article aims to provide a comprehensive literature survey and review of a total of 594 publications (356 for skin lesion segmentation and 238 for skin lesion classification) published between 2011 and 2022. These articles are analyzed and summarized in a number of different ways to contribute vital information regarding the methods for the development of CAD systems. These ways include: relevant and essential definitions and theories, input data (dataset utilization, preprocessing, augmentations, and fixing imbalance problems), method configuration (techniques, architectures, module frameworks, and losses), training tactics (hyperparameter settings), and evaluation criteria. We intend to investigate a variety of performance-enhancing approaches, including ensemble and post-processing. We also discuss these dimensions to reveal their current trends based on utilization frequencies. In addition, we highlight the primary difficulties associated with evaluating skin lesion segmentation and classification systems using minimal datasets, as well as the potential solutions to these difficulties. Findings, recommendations, and trends are disclosed to inform future research on developing an automated and robust CAD system for skin lesion analysis

Study design: A retrospective review of three-dimensional CT scan images and radiographs.Purpose: To investigate the prevalence and morphologic features of ponticulus posticus in Koreans.Overview-of-Literature: There has been little reported on the prevalence morphologic characteristics of ponticulus posticus in Asians, predisposing them to vertebral artery injury during screw placement in the lateral mass of the atlas. Methods: The presence and types of ponticulus posticus were investigated on 225 consecutive cervical three-dimensional CT scans and 312 consecutive digital lateral cephalometric head radiographs. Results: Various spectra of ponticulus were found in 26% of the CT scans and 14% of the radiographs. Conclusion: Ponticulus posticus is a relatively common anomaly in Koreans. Therefore, the presence of this anomaly should be carefully examined for on radiographs before lateral mass screw placement. If ponticulus posticus is suspected confirmed on radiographs, three-dimensional CT scanning should be considered before placement of lateral mass screws into the posterior arch, especially given its wide variation of size and shape.OAIID:oai:osos.snu.ac.kr:snu2007-01/102/0000004226/2SEQ:2PERF_CD:SNU2007-01EVAL_ITEM_CD:102USER_ID:0000004226ADJUST_YN:NEMP_ID:A076317DEPT_CD:801FILENAME:E009T_ASJ-2007_Kim_Prevalence and morphologic features of ponticulus posticus.pdfDEPT_NM:의학과EMAIL:[email protected]:YCONFIRM:
